I'm BACK! :) Did you miss me?! It was kind of weird not posting nightly after doing it for so long..ha! So now it's time to get back into the "swing of things" so to speak.
Last night at around 9 p.m. I finally did my menu for this week. I know...nothing like waiting for the last minute. I went grocery shopping today and did spend $14.00 more then my allotted $75.00 BUT I had money left over from last week so it all evened out..YIPPEEE :)!!!
So what's on the menu this week you might ask? I decided not to do anymore Sneaky Chef recipes for now. I really enjoyed being "sneaky" but to be honest with you being sneaky just took WAY TOO MUCH TIME! I figured I was having success with Wee-one eating vegetables in soups and casseroles and those were super easy. I'm not saying I won't ever go back to doing the Sneaky Chef thing but for right now it's just more practical for me to make us casseroles and soups :)! I did pick up a few pointers along with way so I'll probably get creative from time to time just to give my recipes a healthy boost. I was doing that before in most of my baking so doing that in soups and casseroles probably won't take that much effort.

Turkey Lattice Pie

Tuesday:
Spaghetti
Homemade spaghetti sauce
Green Beans
Garlic Toast
Wednesday:
Pumpkin Waffles/Pancakes (haven't decided which one yet..ha)
Eggs
Thursday:
Chicken & Wild Rice Soup (slow-cooker recipes and SO EASY)
Zucchini Bread
Friday:
Hubs and I are going out for our anniversary (a few weeks early but hey we have a baby sitter..ha)
Saturday:
Parmesan Potato Soup
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Sunday:
Leftovers
Tonight I'll post the recipe for the Turkey Lattice Pie and whether or not Wee-one enjoyed it. It isn't a hard recipe and uses some convenience items to make it easy. Stay tuned each night for an update on how Wee-one liked the supper and for my recipes. You know I LOVE TO SHARE :)!
